Big game hunting is our specialty and guiding is our full time livelihood. We are committed to giving every one of our hunters the hunt of a lifetime.We hope to make it the best hunt and vacation you have ever had. We are located 2 hours from Portland International or Bangor Airport. Hunts take place in Maine and New Brunswick.

All packages include meals, lodging, travel to & from hunting areas and guides. Except unguided deer hunts.

Our Hunter to Guide Ratios - New Brunswick:
Spring Black Bear 3 to 1 ratio. Our self-imposed ratios ensures that the hunter receives personalized service.

Lodging in New Brunswick for Spring Bear Hunts: Dining is in our main lodge. There are 2 bunk rooms upstairs to accommodate 6 people. We have 3 cabins, all with woodstove, gas refrigerator, gas stove, gaslights, toilet, running water. These rustic cabins are unique and charming. Each group will have their own cabin or bunkroom. The shower house provides hot showers with a gas hot water heater and gravity fed water. The generator is run periodically during the day and every evening providing light for meals and skinning.

Bear Hunt With Hounds: One of the most exciting hunts in the Northeast. We have 14 highly experienced bear hounds to find and track your Black Bear with. Our dog handlers have been running hounds since their youth and work as a team with hounds on the hunt. We use state of the art telemetry tracking equipment to follow and track our hounds. The average bear weighs about 170 lbs but we have taken bear weighing over 600 lbs!

Our Hunter to Guide Ratios - Maine Hunts:
Whitetail Deer Hunts 5 to 1 ratio.
Moose Hunts 1 to 1 ratio.
Maine Black Bear Hound Hunts 2 to 1 ratio.
Black Bear over Bait 5 to 1 ratio.
Bobcat Hunts with dogs 2 to 1 ratio.

Lodging in Maine: lodge offers a game room & den. Bunk rooms contain 1 - 3 bunk beds. Two rooms have double beds. Enjoy home cooked meals in the dining room.

Bear Hunt Over Bait: Maine has the largest black bear population in the Northeast. We personally guide and transport you to your baited bear stand, and pick you up after shooting hours. We have approx. 250 sites that are kept active. All tree stands are portable ladder stands 12’ to 14’ high. Tree stand shots vary for 12 to 20 yards. Bow stands offer 12 to 14 yard shots. We also have numerous ground blinds, which offer more comfort and longer shots. We have some of the best hounds in the state to track your bear should you happen to wound him.

Moose Hunting: Maine has the healthiest population of this incredible animal than anywhere else in the continental US. Permit drawing controls this hunt. Most of the hunting is done driving on old wood roads, scanning old cuttings. We also encourage walking the outskirts of the cuttings looking for a moose bedded down. Our guides are versed in the art of calling.

Deer Hunting: Our guides know the area we are hunting and concentrate on areas where there is evidence of big bucks. Our experienced guides are looking for the big rubs and active scrapes. Our terrain consists of rolling hills with a healthy mix of hard and softwoods. We have swamps, beech and oak ridges, some farmland and an occasional abandoned apple orchard. We hunt over active scrapes, rubs, deer trails and feeding area. We will assist the hunter in putting up a portable tree stand (if he/she wants to bring one), or we can make a ground blind.

Bobcat Hunt With Hounds: one of the most physically challenging hunts in the Northeast. Travel by wood roads early in the morning, by 4-wheel drive or snowmobile, looking for cat tracks to put the dogs on. Snow conditions are of great importance to this hunt. Hunters should be in good physical condition as the hunt may require walking long distance on deep snow with snowshoes. It can get extremely cold so you need to bring proper clothing. We will go wherever necessary to insure that you get the best snow conditions for your hunt. .
