Hunting for Whitetail Deer, Merriam Turkey and Grouse in Nebraska

Niobrara Hunting Adventures is owned and operated by David Galloway. We offer fully guided hunts for whitetail, muley, turkey, and grouse. We can accommodate up to three hunters at a time ensuring a high quality personalized hunt.

Located in the heart of the beautiful sandhills of Nebraska, Niobrara Hunting Adventures specializes in bowhunting for trophy whitetails, mule deer and turkey. We also offer primitive muzzleloader hunts for deer in December and from Thanksgiving through February, we offer coyote hunts where we call them right to you. With fresh water everywhere, large pastures, lush valleys, and pine tree filled canyons mingled with corn and alfalfa fields, prime habitat is maintained and large populations of game flourish in this rich environment.

The land hunted is top deer country and consists of approximately 6,000 private acres with the majority owned by the family and the remainder leased for hunting purposes. We hunt using a variety of methods including tree stand hunting near food sources, between food and bedding areas, and along prime buck sign or well used travel corridors. We also employ other tactics such as utilizing canoes to paddle down stream to remote, big buck infested habitat which is inaccessible by traditional means.

No matter what the season or conditions, we put in the extra effort necessary to increase your chances on downing a truly exceptional buck!

Turkey:
We have very high populations of wild Merriams turkey. In winter and early spring it is common to see flocks of over 100 birds together. They come quite readily to the call and in most cases we have had our hunters on adult gobblers within the first few hours of the hunt. One can expect to have an opportunity at a three year old or older bird within 4 days of hunting with us, however we do not guarantee anything as these are wild birds and nature has a way of making a fool out of man!! At any rate, we do our best to put you in on the action in some breathtaking country where you will be the only hunter around for miles. Please call or e-mail us for more information.
