Whitetail Deer and Bear Hunting in Manitoba, Canada

Hunting For Bear In CanadaDarrell's Outfitting is a small professionally operated business operating out of The Pas and Swan River areas hunting for Whitetail Deer and Bear. Our guides are licensed professionals who live in the areas where you will be hunting. Our goal is to provide the best Whitetail Deer or Bear hunt we can offer so that everyone goes home satisfied with our services and the high-quality hunting available in our area.

I am the first hunting outfitter to have operated this area in The Pas. I have been outfitting this area since 1987. Some of our clients have returned as many as seven times in the ten years we have operated here. This return hunting business speaks for itself.

Be prepared for warm or cold weather. Proper clothing will only add to your hunt. Camo is suitable for Spring Hunt. For Fall Hunt regulations require a Blaze Orange Hat plus 400 Sq. Inches of Blaze Orange.

Bear Hunting: We have met alot of hunters with bear fever. The majority of our Bear hunts are in the spring. We have numerous hours of hunting videos. In the evening we like to sit around the fire and swap hunting stories. We have met many longtime friends while operating our outfitting business.

Whitetail Deer Hunting In CanadaDeer Hunting: We hunt Whitetail in the Duck Mountains when they are in rut in mid-November. We have only 6 permits for the Duck Mountain area which is approximately 150 miles south of The Pas. Our camp is set up on our own private land. Our land is adjacent to the Provincial Forest. Our cabin is surrounded by alfalfa fields located along the edge of the Duck Mountains. The deer come down the mountain to feed on the alfalfa fields. In the morning the cabin is surrounded by deer, a hunters paradise. We use tree stands or ground blinds, whichever you prefer.

Our deer population is high and the big ones are out there. The big ones are also the smart ones, that’s why they are big. We encourage grunting or rattling to increase your chance for a trophy buck. The deer feed on our land all year round. I was raised just 1 mile from where the cabin is located and have hunted here for approximately 22 years. I know the area and the deer patterns very well. In The Pas we hunt Whitetail at the end of September in their natural feeding grounds. We have only 2 permits for The Pas area. In The Pas we can do deer-bear combination hunts because the bear season is still open.
